Dun Whinny loses to Dukes

Home advantage proved decisive as Dun Whinny went down to a crushing 6-0 defeat at the hands of the Dukes Golf Club last Sunday.

Despite perfect weather and a golf course in superb condition the Dun Whinny players never got to grips with the match. In – form Keith Baillie made a courageous attempt on his own and managed to take his match to the 18th but most of the matches were over before then!

However, despite the result the Dukes team members proved to be top quality hosts and the day finished with an excellent meal.

Let’s hope for a better outcome in our two remaining matches – Boat of Garten (home) on 30th August and Bruntsfield (away) on 6 September.

Could all members please check their match selections to ensure their availability?
