This past weekend saw beautiful weather and wonderfully presented golf courses for two Dun Whinny events.
Robin Christie’s 39 points around King’s saw him win the Muirfield Salver on Saturday in the Club’s home-hosted Spring Outing. A great turnout as well as pre- and post- round drinks and food for many participating members added to an excellent day.
Sunday’s match against Dun Ochil ended in an honourable 4-4 draw. Great cameraderie and some good golf was enjoyed by all. Dun Ochil generously donated a beautiful crystal trophy for the event, which their Captain Norrie Jack delightedly retained, since Dun Ochil had won the match last year.
Next weekend holds the promise of round 2 of The Strokeplay. Let’s hope for more glorious weather!
