Dun Whinny through to Bell Trophy semi final

The evening of Sunday 10 July saw Dun Whinny through to the semi finals of the Bell Trophy in a home tie played over the Kings Course

Despite very wet conditions  the DW team of Tony Moran, Chris McLaren, Tony Curley, Mike Page and Andy Carswell put in a strong performance against opponents from Bishopshire Golf Club.

Home advantage proved decisive as DW were able to win all their matches.

Despite the rain it was a very enjoyable event against excellent opponents and everyone enjoyed dinner in the Dormy afterwards.

Good luck to the team in the semi final!

From all of us at Scotlandwell, good luck in the semi, despite the weather we all had a great day, five absolute gents proved cracking hosts, along with the stunning course and clubhouse it was a tie to remember despite the result! Thanks again, hope to return the hospitality in the coming years!
