Golf Update 26/6

Its been pretty hectic over the past few weeks and with lots more coming up its probably time to let you know what’s happening:

Congratulations to both and good luck to whoever is playing against them in the foursomes…… talking of which, you can find the latest draws for the Singles, Foursomes and the current Order of Merit standings in the Competition section here Competitions — Dun Whinny Golf Club . If you are still involved in the knockout events please get your matches arranged and let me know the results as soon as possible afterwards.

Also at the weekend we had a match against Glasgow Dun Whinny GC vs Glasgow GC — Dun Whinny Golf Club and a Charity Fourball competition Charity “Blind” 4BBB — Dun Whinny Golf Club Its not too late to make a donation so please take a look.

We also have loads of great events coming up and as Gleneagles have given us a few extra tee times we have plenty of room for anyone who fancies a game.

Saturday July 1st: Stroke Play on the PGA - please enter via the Confirm Entry event - for more info please read the email I sent out last week.

Sunday July 2nd. Club Match vs Dun Ochil.

Saturday July 8th. WRM Hally Prize on the Kings - enter via the app

Saturday July 15th. the rescheduled second Round of the Princes Pot on the PGA. As per the Strokeplay please enter via the confirm entry event on the app. You don’t need to have played in round one to enter round 2, you obviously can’t win but you can still get order of merit points, a score for your handicap, a sun tan and some exercise.

Also in July we have a Monthly Medal (22nd), the Jack Adams Trophy (Wednesday 26th) and the notorious Kings Blue Tees Event on the 29th. You can enter all of these via the app now.

Lastly just a reminder that our away day this year is to Dundonald Links on Saturday September 2nd. Dundonald are hosting the Scottish Ladies Open in August this year so it will be a good opportunity to compare yourself against the top woman players. Cost is £140 which includes breakfast and lunch. Please contact Daley if you would like to come along, he might even be organising a bus :)
