Stroke Play Round Two. PGA. White Tees. Results. 1/7/23
Round Two of our Stroke Play Championship was played today over the PGA from the White tees in tricky conditions. Much like round one the hardest part was choosing what to wear as people in shorts and T-Shirts played together with people in waterproofs and wooly hats…. The conditions were certainly reflected in the scores with only our newly crowned club champion breaking 80!
The situation after two rounds is as follows:
In the Gross section it is a straight race between David and George with George holding a 4 shot lead.
The nett is much closer. Paul is leading but can’t play in the final round as he has to go to Bali for his son’s wedding which I guess is a decent excuse. That leaves 7 players within 4 shots going into the final round on the Kings on September 9th. It should be very exciting….
As usual you can find all the scores on Home - Scottish Golf
The second round of our Stroke Play Championship is this Saturday July 1st, on the PGA. It is the only event on the PGA where we use the White tees so offers a unique challenge.
The draft draw is below but as usual it will change so please check back on Friday to confirm your tee time. If you have not entered yet or need to withdraw please can you let me know.
