Pinehurst Foursomes Result

As a warm up for the new season we held a Pinehurst Foursomes competition around a very foggy Queens Course this morning. 14 teams took part including a guest team from Dunbraken to make up the numbers.

The course was a bit damp and it was hard to see at times but the standard of golf was high with no team over par.

The Top Scores were as follows:

Ewan Kinnear and Tony Moran 7 Under (61)

Kevin Dickson and Colin Campbell 6 under

3 teams tied for third on 5 under as follows: Neil Lock & Jonathan Fletcher, Stewart Lockhart & Alan Black, Ann Marshall & Thida Than.

Worth a mention on 4 under were Iain Aitchison & David Mitchell and Mike Page & Sandy Grant.

Congratulations, but no prizes or trophies, to Ewan and Tony and well done to everyone who took part.

Next up we have a Stableford on the Kings on Saturday March 25th, Our first trophy of the year, the JD Penny Shield, on the Queens on April 1st and the re-arranged Captain vs Vice Captain match on the PGA on April 8th. You can enter all of these on the app but that’s about all you can do with it at the moment….. hopefully it will up and running soon.
