Dun Whinny 5.5 - 0.5 Panmure

We hosted our good friends from Panmure on Sunday 30 July in thankfully dry and bright conditions with the ever-present swirling breeze.

In an almost perfect example of home advantage Dun Whinny achieved a resounding victory winning five and halving one match.  I need to add that I was playing in the halved game and great credit is due to playing partner Keith Stirling for keeping us in that match which never had more than one hole in it.

Visiting captain Jim Wallace who has maintained records of this fixture going back  many years confirmed that, in most years, the home team is victorious.  Something for us to think about when we visit Panmure next year!
