March Competitions

The official Dun Whinny Summer Season starts with the JD Penny Shield on March 30th but we have several fun Warm Up events leading up to it. You can enter them all via the Scottish Golf App right now and you can also enter our Singles and Foursomes Knockouts there as well - entries close on March 30th. You can select a partner for the Foursomes or ask to be paired up, either is fine, just let me know. The draws will be made and published at the end of March.

Saturday March 2nd: a Non Counting Stableford from the Yellow Tees on Queens. Tee times from 8am, enter via the app, the draw will appear in the News Section of the website on Thursday.

Friday March 8th: AGM and Supper starting at 7pm in the Hotel. If you have not already done so please confirm your attendance or otherwise to Keith. Dress code is Jacket and Club Tie - if you haven’t already collected your new tie then please let Keith know and he will bring one along for you.

Saturday March 9th: Our annual Captain vs Vice Captain match. This is a fun but highly competitive four ball better ball match play event on the Kings and we normally have a few drinks in the bar afterwards.

Saturday March 16th: A Pinehurst Foursomes on the Queens. This “double greensomes” format is always popular and great fun. Pairings will be drawn at random.

Saturday March 23rd: a Stableford from the Yellow Tees on Kings.

Saturday March 30th: JD Penny Shield on Queens. Singles and Foursomes entries close.

Sunday March 31st: Easter Sunday, Clocks Change, Warm Weather and Evening golf are Possible :)
