Winter Events Update

Final Update March 31st. Congratulations to Bill Sexton for winning both of the individual Winter Trophies: namely the Winter Stroke Play Championship and the Tom Brown Tankard beating defending champ Douglas Laing virtue of a nett 60 on the PGA being better than a 60 on the Queens (12 under vs 8 under). We will be moving to a stableford format for both of these next year. We will also be reviewing keeping the same handicap throughout the Winter - Bill started at 21.8 and is currently 15.6!

Bill also won two of the eclectics in his section with Douglas winning the other. Similarly in the lower handicap section Ken Marshall won the Kings and Queens ones with David Logie winning over the PGA to supplement his Winter Fourball trophy below.

Many thanks to David for keeping track of all these scores.

Congratulations to David Logie and Rob Crockart who defended their Winter Fourball trophy defeating David Mitchell and Jonathan Fletcher in a tightly fought contest over The Kings this morning.

We have one more week to get final cards in for the Winter Strokeplay, Tom Brown Tankard and all the eclectics.
