Winter Stuff. Roll Ups are back. Updated 08/12.

Update Dec 15th: 9.00, 9.10 and 9.20 on Kings are our Tee times for tomorrow and 12 people are currently down to play. Meetup as usual for a draw in the Dormy.

PS: Next week (dec 23rd) we are planning a scramble on the Queens so please get your names down asap if you would like to play. We currently have 12 entries!

PPS: Congratulations to everyone for completing the first round of our Winter Fourball event before the deadline despite the appalling weather. The draw can be seen here Winter Fourball

Update Dec 8th: we have 9.00, 9.08, 9.16 and 9.24 on Queens tomorrow, we also have 10.30 as a backup as we currently have 15 entries, if you fancy this let me know. The frost has gone but has been replaced by rain, lots of rain….. we will have Intercourse with Eric AND Discourse with David in the Dormy at 8.30 ish and we currently have 4 Davids entered. One of them will organise a draw.

Update December 2nd: No golf today and no intercourse with Eric either. The forecast looks a bit more promising for next week when we will introduce Discourse with David. This will work the same as with Eric but will be quicker and we will play golf afterwards. The good thing about it is that unlike with Eric we have 13 David’s to choose from so at least one should always be available which reminds me…. If you are one of those people who struggle to remember names and meet a fellow member just call him David, you will have a 1 in 8 chance of being correct :)

Same again for this Saturday. Its highly unlikely we will get any golf but coffee and a chat with Eric might still be possible. These “intercourse with Eric” sessions normally last about 90 mins :)

Same plan for Saturday Nov 25th but with one small change. Meet in the Dormy by the fire at 8.45 where Eric (or a suitable replacement) will arrange the draw. We currently have 15 entries but the forecast is for frost…..

As numbers dwindle as the weather gets worse we have a new plan for Saturday Winter Golf. Enter or withdraw via the app (so we know how many to expect) up until Saturday morning. There is no need to let me know as long as the app is correct. Then just turn up at the appropriate tee just before 9am where we will make a draw for partners. If we get more than 16 then we might have to revert back to a draw but meanwhile we will see how this goes.

Winter Fourball. Hopefully everyone has arranged their matches, if not then get to it…. The draw is now in the competitions section and will be updated as the results come in, two matches have already taken place!
